I got offered the second job I was interviewed for, and I am over the moon with it. It is in the industry I find most interesting and has an excellent package and equally good prospects. I was really pleased with the service meta-morphose provided to me, their people are great and I would recommend them to anybody.
Like most new graduates I found the idea of finding a good job very daunting. After attaining my 2:1, my fears only got worse as the initial excitement and enthusiasm quickly disappeared when I got several "Dear-John" letters and countless no replies.
So I made the wise decision that it was best to use a recruitment specialist to help me find that dream job. I heard about meta-morphose International from fellow graduates I knew at university. They had all secured great jobs through meta-morphose with excellent packages and prospects. I contacted the company and they arranged for me to have a telephone interview. The questions they asked were very logical, and their manner was relaxed and friendly. This in turn led to me being invited to an assessment day in Cheltenham.
My first impressions were that the company had attracted a high standard group of individuals to attend the day. The structure of the assessment day was well organised and it seemed to flow at a nice pace. The people who ran the day were extremely helpful and very enthusiastic. Their methods of assessment were appropriate and it was easy for me to see how they would demonstrate the skills they desired from a potential candidate. The people running the day did so very professionally, and it was obvious that they would ensure everyone benefited from the experience - whether they made the cut or not. After I had been told I was successful in my application, they gave me a constructive talk on anything they thought I could improve. They also specifically identified what industries were of interest to me, and most importantly what were my career ambitions. They asked 'Where did I see myself in 5 years time?', so they could help me to find a job to realise my personal goals.
During the time when they were actually arranging interviews for me and sending me job briefs there was always someone there to talk to in the office. You quickly build up a relationship with most of them, which I think is an important experience as it will be invaluable in a B2B sales career. They listened to all my requirements for the job, and took into account my strengths and any weaknesses, likes and dislikes. That ensured that the job briefs I was sent were appropriate and very appealing to me. They were always there for me when I was going through the interview stages of recruitment - giving me good advice.
