In short, my personal meta-morphose experience has been excellent. I started out with a desire to begin my professional life in sales and have had encouragement and support all the way through. I would recommend anyone to meta-morphose and have benefited from and enjoyed the whole experience.

My first step was to look at the meta-morphose website, which had interesting job examples and laid out the simple process for applying. A couple of days later I received a call from the Meta office. It was from this point that the meta-morphose team proved why they are so successful today.

The caller was very open and honest with me. She explained the meta-morphose structure and what they want to achieve for the graduates they take on board. She asked what I was looking for and why I felt I was right for a job in sales.

The assessment day in Cheltenham was the second day of its kind I had attended so I was aware of the type of skills I would be required to demonstrate. I found the meta-morphose day enjoyable and very constructive, even a good opportunity to start networking (I am still in contact with a friend from that day). The most important element for me was that all the meta-morphose team came across very positively about what they did and the company. They effortlessly created a relaxed environment in what was essentially a highly nervous day for all attending.

As promised, once I had passed the Assessment Centre Meta came back to me with several job opportunities in a variety of industries that matched the criteria I had given them, including an opportunity within 24 hours.
I felt very comfortable with the operational side of these offers. I was not pushed to feel that I had to take the interview as a point of politeness or policy, and after the interview I did not get pushed towards accepting the job unless I felt comfortable and positive about it. I was, however, given an opportunity to discuss it properly and assess the positives and negatives of the opportunity at hand, and not just left up to my own decisions.

This seemed to have been the trend of the meta-morphose ethos right from the first phone call. The approach was honest and somewhat caring towards my high personal ambitions and accepting the correct opportunities.

I attended several interviews and got through all of them, however the job I eventually accepted has provided me with the opportunity to reach and surpass the initial targets I had set myself.

Planit International, an international market leader in CAD software in the respective Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry, employed me and has been as supportive and professional as I could have hoped from any first employer.

meta-morphose have kept in contact with me throughout my first 12 months of employment and have offered guidance with the sort of questions any new ambitious sales executive would have.

A large part of the Metamorphose structure orientates around their 3 courses through-out the first 12 months.
- The initial course lays foundations for the sales process, and introduces you to ideas and successful methodologies. This provides you with the option to take these educative ways and use them how you wish.
- The second course involves the discovery of personality types and negotiation techniques. The course is based on literature and research, but is developed with strong, interesting examples and activities.
- The third course offers development of presentation skills, an activity that a sales person is so often required to perform. Good presenting skills are essential for success in sales and this part of the training really adds structure and builds confidence.

At all 3 stages it is highly encouraged that there is a high level of group involvement. The practice sessions, interviews, phone calls and presentations are all video taped and the opportunity to personally analyse and critique individual performance proves to be an exceptionally useful facility (although somewhat nerve racking at first!!!)

The leaders of the various stages, offer the highest professional training and advice and the encouragement of the Metamorphose training team is always to hand during group and individual work.

I have not only added a great job, professional success and concrete training to my CV, but have recently reached the final 6 candidates competing for the title 'Best Newcomer to Sales - Products' in the National Sales Awards to be held in London, early 2006.
