Billy Connolly was talking to me the other day, he was telling me about a great book called 'A Confederacy of Dunces' he is right. Having read it, it is a great book.
Actually Billy wasn't talking to just me, he was on the telly talking to everyone...BUT I felt he was talking to just me. He has the ability to communicate, to connect, to inspire. How come, because he is happy in his own skin. He is relaxed, nothing to prove, honest, says it how it is, you know where you stand.
If you are in sales, reflect and think about how you come across. If it's a slick performance or simply an act I spot it and I don't respond well.
